The purpose of the Personnel Committee is to oversee matters related to all paid personnel of the church, except the pastor

Responsibilities:

• Makes hiring recommendations to Church Council for positions authorized by Church Council

• Develops and maintains job descriptions for all non-pastoral positions

• Staffs the nursery with paid and volunteer personnel

• Monitors and maintains compliance with childcare systems and policies to insure safety of all children

• Attends all Trustees and Congregational meetings

• Evaluates job performances on an annual basis

• Makes wage/salary recommendations annually to the Stewardship Ministry Chair for consideration in the statement of Faith and Missions

• Verifies compliance with the UCC anti-harassment policy

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Assisting the nursery staff during special events
