Virtual CROP Hunger Walk

With the youth group leading the way, Friends Church will participate in the virtual CROP Hunger Walk on November 15 at 3pm by departing as a congregation from the church parking lot, walking the three-mile route, and returning to the Friends Church grounds. People from different households will walk at least six feet apart, everyone will wear masks, and there will be water stations along the way.

The entire walk will be captured on Facebook Live to share in solidarity with our B-CS friends doing the walk at that same time. Funds raised for the CROP Hunger Walk will benefit the Brazos Church Pantry and Church World Service in an effort to fight hunger and hunger-related diseases locally and worldwide.
