6:55pm Tuesday, September 7th - LIVE STREAM INTERFAITH REMEMBERANCE SERVICE OBSERVING 20 YEARS SINCE 9-11-2001:Â
On Tuesday evening, September 7 at 6:55 p.m., First Presbyterian Church of Bryan, Texas, will host an interfaith remembrance and renewal live-streamed service from the sanctuary, honoring the lives lost on 9-11-2001. This service will be presented online only, in order to mitigate the spread of COVID. Facilitators and participants of all ages and genders from the faith traditions of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and other religious backgrounds will guide online viewers in this service of remembrance.
Online viewers are invited to access the live stream by visiting First Presbyterian Church of Bryan’s YouTube page at https://tinyurl.com/kmw8dkwd, or by visiting the First Presbyterian-Bryan website: www.fpcbryan.org. Click on the YouTube red-box link on the top right of the homepage. The service will also be recorded for later viewing and sharing via YouTube.
This service has been organized so that viewers may share in the sacred remembering of grievous events twenty years ago and experience holy renewal for reconciled relationships among all people, celebrating our blessed similarities and differences.
