Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Videos: Deadline

We need you to make our online Christmas Eve service special by submitting a video from your home to Friends Church for our virtual carols by candlelight. With your phone or iOS device in landscape/horizontal format, record a 30-second video of you (and each person in your household) lighting a candle, holding it as you would if you were in the sanctuary singing carols by candlelight, and simply looking into the camera. Smiles are welcomed! If you don’t have a candle and cannot arrange to pick one up from the church, you can use the battery-operated candle that came in the spiritual survival kit we received a couple of months ago. Submit your video to the church’s Google folder no later than Tuesday, December 22. Each of those submitted videos will be edited into a montage of the congregation lighting and holding candles as the choir is heard singing carols in the online Christmas Eve service, premiering at 7pm that night. How lovely it will be to see all of your faces by candlelight, sharing in the glow of expectation of the coming of our Lord.
