About the Event
From the “Christians Against Christian Nationalism” statement: “As Christians, our faith teaches us everyone is created in God’s image and commands us to love one another. As Americans, we value our system of government and the good that can be accomplished in our constitutional democracy. Today, we are concerned about a persistent threat to both our religious communities and our democracy: Christian nationalism.” Want to learn more? Join us for a three-session study at 7pm on Tuesday evenings, September 14, 21, and 28, based on a curriculum called, “Responding to Christian Nationalism.” The interactive study, co-led by Justice & Missions Committee Chair Andrew McNeely and Pastor Dan, will be offered as a hybrid class, meeting both in person in the double classroom at Friends Church and online via Zoom: Meeting ID: 849 4158 9499, Passcode: AllFriends. For more information, contact J&M Chair Andrew McNeely at justice-mission@friends-ucc.org, or Pastor Dan at pastor@friends-ucc.org.
