Capital Campaign Welcome

Chair, Capital Campaign Committee

Wow! What an incredible month it's been. Looking back at everything that has been put in place during January

in preparation for the upcoming Capital Campaign simply boggles my mind! (And I don't boggle easily!)

The Campaign Steering Committee would like to thank the many people who have already jumped in to help lay the groundwork for this congregation to again step out in faith to shape who we choose to be as a community.

The name of our campaign, Friends In Faith, was adopted as a reflection of our community's bond in a belief that what we do together matters, as well as our commitment and dedication to taking the next step of our journey. Our campaign slogan is "Embracing Our Future." Although none of us can predict exactly what our future will hold, we can and should envision one that is even more meaningful and impactful to both our Friends Church community and to the broader community that surrounds us. You will be seeing our campaign logo (above) on campaign materials and announcements. Whenever you see it, take note that it represents a very special and exciting time for us!

The Friends in Faith campaign is set to begin on Sunday, March 27th with a "Kick Off" breakfast before worship. Please save the date! Even prior to the kick off breakfast, however, you will have opportunities to attend a campaign forum to learn more details. Three Awareness & Education forums are scheduled at the church immediately following worship on Sunday, March 20th; Wednesday, March 23rd; and Sunday, March 27th. These are your opportunities to learn how we got to this point, what our goals are, and what to expect during the campaign.

Please feel free to touch base with the Campaign Steering Committee with any questions or comments you any have. Our campaign Steering Committee is served by Kathy Langlotz (Campaign Coordinator), Bridget Bassett (Campaign Administrative Director), Dan De Leon, Kevin Graham, Ruth Schemmer, Andy Tag, and Michelle Williamson. Friends In Faith, "Embracing Our Future." I like it.

A Simple Thing You Can Do to Help: As the Friends In Faith Capital Campaign is preparing for its kickoff later this spring, there is a simple thing you may be able to do to help.  If you have contact information for former members or organizations supportive of Friends Church's ministries and vision, we'd love to share information with them about the Capital Campaign.  Please contact Kathy Langlotz at This email address is being protected from spambots.
