All Church Retreat
at Slumber Falls Camp

When:  May 10-11  2008

Where: Slumber Falls Camp & Retreate Center
New Braunfels, Texas

It's time to make plans to attend the All-Church Retreat at Slumber Falls Camp in New Braunfels! People of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy the beauty of God's creation together in community, with our spiritual time led by Camille Bunting and Sunday worship led by Pastor Dan.

A quick agenda looks like this:
--Spiritual/Nature study Saturday morning at 10.
--Lunch
--Free time (swimming, Fossil Flats, tubing, etc.) Saturday afternoon
--Spiritual/Nature study Sat. evening
--Weiner Roast! Saturday evening (bring roasting tools if you have them)
--Breakfast prepared by Jerome & Co. (Ludy, too?)
--Sunday worship at Vesper Point
--Clean up camp and go home!

People have been asking a few things, so here are some helpful facts:
--Website for Slumber Falls:   http://slumberfalls.com/ (includes driving directions)

--We will share cabins. To be good stewards of utilities, we are asked to fill each cabin 2/3 full before opening a new one. Cabin options will be available soon.

--You will provide your own linens and towels.

--Carpooling will likely be available both Friday evening and Saturday morning. Once I know when people are going, I'll put them in touch with each other.

--The April 27 deadline is a soft deadline. We do have to send a down payment of sorts to Slumber Falls ahead of time, but I don't want anyone to not come because of a deadline. Also, a count of people will be good for food planning on our part. :)

There are already a number of folks planning to go--don't miss out on this great weekend! I can already hear the rush of the river below as the breeze rustles through the trees around Vesper Point.
